Notice of install of Apache mod_jk in Ubuntu 8.04
If apache server was installed from repository (apt-get) and mod_jk was latest edition and downloaded from official website. Sorry, it may be not work. It's must installed from repository that package name is libapache2-mod-jk.
In official edition of Apache, we could put mod_jk.so into apache2/module directory (In ubuntu, the full path would be /usr/lib/apache2/module). Then modify relative setting in httpd.conf, it can load mod_jk module successfully. But it's whole difference in ubuntu.
Module setting was seperated into mods-available and mods-enabled directories. As the directory name, the available modules were in mods-available, the loaded modules were in mods-enabled. The setting syntex is the same as orginal.
